Flat Aspens

I've been keeping myself really busy the last couple of weeks. I'm freelancing regularly, and I'm taking an online course on writing Fantasy and Science Fiction. So far, I'm loving the class. I keep saying that I'm going to simplify my days, but then I take on more tasks.

We're also continuing to work on the house. Fixing the deck in a long process. I'll keep you updated when we do something new. Right now, we're looking at going board by board, replacing each piece of deck that cannot be salvaged.

Somewhere in my "free time" I'm also painting. I'm really obsessed with painting trees right now and am trying out new techniques. My latest is "Flat Aspens." Will I ever get back to realism? I don't know, but it's fun to experience my art evolution.
