Salutations!
I hold a couple of degrees, one in liberal studies, one in journalism. I used to hide in my bedroom closet (the quietest, most private place I could find) and write short stories that I illustrated as I went along. Somewhere along the way, I caught the reporter bug, which then progressed to the blogger bug (much more serious, indeed).
I work full time at BriarPatch Co-op in Grass Valley, Calif. (where my partner, Charles also works), blogging, social networking, writing continuously, and doing just about anything that may be needed in the co-op atmosphere. Sure, I may be a jack of all trades, but I still only answer to Mellisa.
